Tucson Orthopaedic Institute Surgeons Provide Medical Aid in Haiti

Surgeons Eric. P. Anctil, Russell G. Cohen, and Joel R. Goode are responding to the call for desperately needed orthopaedic care for the victims of Haiti’s earthquake.  The doctors volunteered for a week of medical aid in two Haiti cities that have yet to receive medical services.  Tucson Orthopaedic Institute supported their efforts by providing thousands of dollars of medical supplies for the doctors to use in treating Haiti’s injured.

Four Tucson doctors have now set up a makeshift clinic in a Haiti township about 20 miles from Port-Au-Prince.

Dr. Russ Cohen, Dr. Joel Goode and Dr. Eric Anctil from Tucson Orthopaedic Institute and Dr. Luis Esparza, an anesthesiologist from Old Pueblo Anesthesia all work together at TMC. They left Tucson Monday morning. More>


Tucson Docs in Haiti Helping Fix Broken Bones

Five local doctors are in Haiti this week helping residents there heal broken bones from this month's devastating earthquake.

The doctors include three surgeons from the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, one orthopedic surgeon from the University of Arizona and an anesthesiologist who practices at Tucson Medical Center. More>
