After Hours Clinic

Expert Care is Open Later, When You Need It

According to medical experts, the most common recreational injuries are bone and joint-related. In fact, one of the most common reasons that people visit ERs or urgent care centers is because of sprained joints or broken bones. However, there are often long wait times and high costs associated with being treated in an ER or urgent care.

The After Hours Clinic at Tucson Orthopaedic Institute is only for orthopedic injuries and the clinic is staffed by trained orthopedic specialists, resulting in lower costs and shorter wait times.

If you should ever find yourself in need of orthopedic care after office hours, the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute After Hours Clinic is open later to help treat your sudden injury.

Why Choose the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute After Hours Clinic?

Prompt Treatment

Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is necessary. By treating only orthopedic injuries, there are shorter wait times compared to the ER or a general urgent care clinic.

Specialty Care

In the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute After Hours Clinic, you will be in the hands of a specialty trained professional from the moment you enter the examination room.

ERs and urgent care centers are staffed with medical professionals that are trained to treat a variety of medical conditions. From chest pains to headaches, the professionals in emergency care centers have seen it all. While these health care professionals are well trained, they are not specialists and are not equipped to take the place of a specialist.

Lower Cost

For the same fee as a specialty office visit, you can avoid the high cost of an ER or urgent care co-pay.

Save Time

Orthopaedic injuries treated in an emergency room or general urgent care are often sent to a specialist office for follow-up care. This leads to additional co-pays and time waiting for appropriate treatment. Instead, come directly to the Tucson Orthopaedic Institute After Hours Clinic for care particular to your needs.

Onsite Amenities

X-ray imaging and casting/bracing services are available onsite for fast and convenient service.

Fast Follow-up Care

If follow-up care is required, access to an orthopedic surgeon is fast and easy. Our staff will coordinate an appointment with our providers prior to you leaving our After Hours Clinic. This allows for a continuum of care, starting with your After Hours Clinic visit through follow-up care provided at one of our three locations.
