Beginning today, the world's tired and aching feet can find comfort, support and solutions online in the hands of America's leading foot care professionals. FootCareMD.com, a new Website specializing in foot and ankle health for all ages, allows foot sufferers, athletes, children and seniors from all walks of life, to point-and-click their way to a quick, interactive evaluation of their foot health symptoms and conditions. The M.D.-created online information center for foot and ankle health can be found on the Web at several addresses: http://www.FootCareMD.com, .org, .net and .info.

The local orthopaedic foot and ankle care practice of Tucson Orthopaedic Institute will be content contributors to the new Website which has been created exclusively by members of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. In addition, the TUCSON ORTHOPAEDIC INSTITUTE is identified on an interactive map on the Website that locates the best foot and ankle care M.D.'s nationwide. The Website presents a wide range of articles and multimedia materials to guide visitors through a variety of special topics, from foot injuries and diseases of the foot, to athletic injuries, training and recovery. The site also includes in-depth features on The Diabetic Foot, as well as Shoe Selection and Safety Guides. To help decide "if the shoe fits," several guides are offered for sizing and selecting children's shoes, purchasing athletic shoes and choosing protective footwear, including "The 10 Points of Proper Shoe Fit."
