The 2nd annual conference schedule includes 2 half-days of presentations appropriate for primary care practitioners, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and any allied healthcare professional whose scope of practice or profession includes orthopaedics.  CME application pending for credit to attend one or both segments.  Emphasis will be on clinical topics applicable to everyday primary care practice.


9/21 - Friday afternoon Ortho Updates - Current Concepts

The focus will be on current concepts including a luncheon general session and a break-out for didactic lectures geared to bring practitioners up to speed on recent innovations, technological advancements and current best practices in specific areas of orthopaedic care.  There will be two concurrent tracks with a total of 7 sessions related to various orthopaedic subspecialties, including industrial injuries. 


9/22 - Saturday morning Hands On - Ortho Evaluation and Management

The focus will be interactive small sessions for improving the evaluation and management of orthopaedic concerns along the patient care continuum.  Participants will be able to rotate through workshops on performing effective clinical exams for each subspecialty area.  A case-study presentation, along with injection and EMG workshops, will round out this conference segment.
