She was kind enough to examine the options I had and to secure me a place on a particularly harried day. "I am a recently medically retired U.S. Air Force military veteran from Iraq. I have been through numerous knee surgeries and have seen various doctors. Doctor John Maltry has a Medical Assistant that is truly amazing, caring, and extremely dedicated to helping and working with all of his patients. She is truly remarkable, there is nobody more kind, respectful, and caring for the needs of the patient. She goes the extra mile to ensure the patients are tended to. Her friendly smile and voice makes you feel good just prior to visiting with the doctor. In the time of pain and recovering from surgery there has not been anyone more courteous and caring than Janice at the Northwest office. She definitely goes the extra mile to ensure the patient is taken care of whether it's by assisting the patient in getting an appointment, or getting in on time to see the doctor, etc. She is a bundle of joy to work with! Her genuine kindness shows exactly what type of person she really is. She truly cares enough to make a difference and she has clearly done that for me."

When I came to Tucson Orthopaedic with shoulder pain, Dr. Scott Goorman recommended physical therapy. My therapist was Debra Angelo. I appreciated her expertise, her clear explanations of what was involved in what she explained was bursitis. Her manner was calm, assured. I went to three different sessions with her, and my range of motion improved considerably. I feel she is an exceptionally gifted therapist, and recommend her wholeheartedly."

"I wanted to share my wonderful experience with TOI. I showed up at the office at 8am this morning very frustrated and begging for help. The first lady at the check-in desk was helpful in that she got the "Cast Guy, Mike" out to see me within minutes. Mike brought me back and did all that he could and then told me what needed to be done next. I then went to the Check Out Desk to request an appointment with a doctor like Mike had suggested and I was blown away with the service. I sat down in the chair and Felicia took over and did what she had to do to get me seen right then! I never expected that and was shocked to see how well everyone worked together. She spoke with her manager Kate who came to the desk to help make sure that my file was ready, she spoke with the doctor to ask if he could see me and then got me right back to a room. I have never experienced this kind of service from a doctor’s office before. As much pain as I was in, this service put a smile on my face. The Doctor came in the room immediately and spent a lot of time with me listening to my concerns, examining my knee and reviewing the films of my injury. He was able to fit me in a knee brace that has drastically reduced my pain. From the minute I walked in the door, I was listened to, and treated like family, rather than a number. No one ever made me feel like I was interrupting (although I knew I was, because I did not have an appointment) and everyone was so willing to help me. I am extremely pleased with my visit today and would like to THANK everyone at TOI today, especially Felicia, who made it all happen and did it with a smile on her face!"
