Ligament Repair Helps Young Soccer Star…TWICE
Michelle Ocariza ran toward the soccer ball. The defender, wanting the same thing, collided with her so forcefully that the 16-year-old player fell to the ground. Her knee had given out. She was carried off the field in agony, but would eventually find her way to Dr. Scott Slagis at Tucson Orthopaedic Institute.

It turned out better than we both expected since I had slightly deformed (from birth) bones and terrible damage from running injuries! His friendly and compassionate nature... Read More

Not only was I seen on time, he was 5 minutes early. That has never happened before. He was very concerned that I understand all possible scenarios, easy to talk to and I so... Read More
I had a full hip revision (replacement of an original hip replacement) about a year ago by Dr. Slagis. I cannot say anything but good things about him. He was completely straightforward about the reduced percentage of successful results for this type of second surgery. He was honest in his opinion about the original surgery (done by a different surgeon)... Read More
