Troy Taduran, D.O. is board certified in Sports Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. He has specialized in nonsurgical Orthopedics and Regenerative Medicine for over 15 years. Dr. Taduran had his primary residency in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital East Orlando then went on to additional residency in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine/Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He applied his residency and fellowship training in private practice in Kansas alongside his Father, who is also a Physician. There, he spent 4 years meeting the Sports Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine needs in Southwest KS. Dr. Taduran served as head team physician for the local high school and college. Dr. Taduran moved to Tucson and has been with Tucson Orthopaedic Institute since 2016. He was a Team Physician for the Tucson Roadrunners and is currently an orthopedic consultant for the University of Arizona Athletics. He is the head team physician for Mountain View High School and works closely with athletic trainers throughout Tucson. Dr. Taduran uses orthobiologic and Regenerative Medicine including prolotherapy, platelet rich plasma, and stem cell treatments to treat many chronic conditions from tendinopathy to osteoarthritis and more in an effective and non-invasive way. To improve accuracy and patient comfort, he uses ultrasound guidance for all of his injections. Dr. Taduran is well versed in the nonsurgical treatment of osteoarthritis of the knees, including viscosupplementation. Dr. Taduran believes in treating pain at its origin and in taking advantage of the body’s natural healing ability. Dr. Taduran is a sports enthusiast and lives an active lifestyle. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children.
