RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)

Title: Radiologic Technologist Assistant (Full Time)
Reports To: Director of Imaging Services
Mission: To provide the residents of our communities the highest quality, state-of-the-art and comprehensive Orthopaedic care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Requests outside imaging studies and imaging reports in advance or real-time as requested
• Delivers, transports, sorts and imports x-ray records by maintaining the PACS and ensuring that appropriate demographic and exam related information is accurate.
• Prepares surgery packets daily
• Transports patients to and from the exam rooms to ensure prompt completion of their x-rays.
• Controls the patient workflow by worklist or light system assigning patients to technologists in timed order.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of work experience in a medical setting and customer service environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Word processing and computer experience
